Genesis 1:26: "Then God said, 'Let us make man in our image, in
our likeness, and let them ruleover the fish of the sea and the
birds of the air..." 28 "God blessed them and said to them, "Be
fruitful and increase in number, fill the earth and subsue it. Rule
over the fish...."
We were made to rule, or manage the world, that is the purpose why
God created human being. The purpose of our life should therefore
be good managesr of the earth, or whatever that were given to
us.
Unfortunately, men failed miserably in this area particularly, the
polluted rivers, the endangered species, the deforestation in many
continents, ..... While one single life cannot change that,
everybody is contributing to that one way or another, the damage of
the environment, wastage of resources....
I see the purpose of my life is to properly manage everything that
God has provided to me. Use my money wisely, do my job diligently,
bring up my children properly, contribute to the overall well being
of the environment as much as possible ...... if my had done my
best in doing all that, my life will be very happy.
Who define your purpose in life? if you define it, then live within
your means, if you allow God to define it, ask God to provide for
you to live an abundant life.
For in the end, "From everyone who has been given much, much will
be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much,
much more will be asked." Luke 12:48.
